This year, the scholarship awards took place at the Israel Air Force Center in Herzliya. We were honored to host security officials, donors, and several partners of the organization. The event concluded with the distribution of approximately 130 scholarships to children and spousesadult orphans and widows for the study of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, 30 wedding gifts for newly married couples, and a research grant to broaden the scope of knowledge in the field of grief management for widows and orphans.
Established in 1991, IDF Widows and Orphans Organization runs projects and activities all year round. It is the representative body for widows and orphans at the legislative level and in the face of the wider public, and it offers emotional, social, financial, and any other necessary support.
